About Chris

I've been lucky in life. I earned a Computer Science degree from San Francisco State University and went on to co-found Gliffy, a software company where I served as CEO until 2016 and then as Chairman of the Board until we sold the company in 2018.

These days, I split my time between San Francisco and Truckee, California, focusing on philanthropy, impact investing, and the occasional engineering project. My work centers on supporting organizations and companies who are leading the charge on reducing climate related emissions. Our primary focus areas have been on building electrification and solving the current wildfire crisis, itself a major source of CO2 emissions.

When I'm not working on these pursuits, you'll find me mountain biking in the Bay Area and Sierra Nevada, or skiing and snowboarding in Tahoe. I share my home with my partner Mimi Pajo, a yoga instructor, and our dog Elsie.
